In order to provide an academic communication platform for graduate students both inside and outside of NUAA, enabling them to make academic communication on a broad basis in such fields as aerospace science and technology, mechanics, machinery manufacture, navigation, guidance and control, power electronics and power transmission, humanities and social sciences, etc., the Third International Academic Conference of Postgraduates, NUAA will be held on November 18-20, 2015. The following is a description of related matters:

1.      Organizing Committee and Members

The Third International Academic Conference of Postgraduates, NUAA will be primarily hosted by Graduate School in collaboration with College of International Education. A committee has been formed to be responsible for successfully organizing and promoting the 3rd International Academic Conference and performing the organizational work. 4.      Submission and Review Schedule

The Third International Academic Conference of Postgraduates, NUAA calls for papers from all the postgraduate students inside and outside of NUAA, domestic and overseas.

Paper submission for postgraduates overseas dates from June 10, 2015 to August 31, 2015.

Paper submission for postgraduates in China (including foreign students) dates from June 10, 2015 to October 1, 2015.

5.      Requirements of Submission

The conference will embrace 6 discipline categories as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Material Science, Humanity and Economic Management, and other disciplines, etc. The paper requires originality and innovation, and the content of the paper shouldn’t be classified, or related to the politics or religions.

The contributors should submit papers in English and deliver presentation on the conference in English. Papers that haven’t been officially published can be submitted.

Please submit papers by Email attachment edited by Microsoft Word. To check about the paper format, please refer to attachment.

Foreign postgraduate students of NUAA please submit your paper to shennan@nuaa.edu.cn, other students please submit your papers to iacpn@nuaa.edu.cn, with the mail title of “Discipline-School Name-Contributor’s Name”.

6.      Review Schedule

The Academic Committee will acknowledge receipt of submission and inform the oversea contributors about the results of review before September 10, 2015. The review results of contributors in China will be informed before October 30, 2015. We will send the official invitation letters to the contributors whose papers have been accepted. 

7.      Conference Form

The official language of the conference is English. The Organizing Committee will select no more than 10 papers to be presented in the keynote plenary session. Other accepted papers will be presented in the parallel sessions.

8.      Conference Fees

The conference will not charge any conference fee or publication fees of papers.

The Organizing Committee will arrange accommodations for those invited postgraduate students from abroad and select some outstanding contributors to reimburse them the round trip air tickets. (With the upper limit of RMB 10,000)

The Organizing Committee will arrange accommodations for those invited postgraduate students from other universities in China (except universities in Nanjing), and select some outstanding contributors to reimburse them the round trip tickets ( Bus, hard train seat, second-class tickets of high speed train)

9.      Additional Information

The accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and the contributors will be awarded the Notification of Acceptance.

The excellent paper award will be given in the conference with certification and rewards.

NUAA postgraduate students who submit the papers as the first author will be recognized as meeting the requirements of publishing academic papers during the graduate.
